Guidelines for parents /guardians

  • Read the contents of almanac carefully and abide by the rules laid down by the school authorities.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities and play their part by enforcing punctuality, regularity, discipline and study habits in their ward.
  • Parents are requested to look into their ward’s school diary every day and see that the lessons and the home work assigned for the day are done regularly.
  • Remarks on the diary and the note books by the teachers should be seen and countersigned regularly by the parents.
  • Criticism of a student’s teacher of his school in his presence should be avoided, lest the student would lose respect for his teacher and his school.
  • Parents are requested not to send for or call away the children during school hours.
  • Parent’s attendance in parent teacher meeting is a MUST.
  • Parents are requested not to enter the class rooms during class hours. All dealings must be conducted through the Principal.
  • You are required to inform the school if there is any change in your address or phone number.
  • Gifting any item to teachers /staff is strictly prohibited.
  • The name, class & section of the pupil should be marked on all his belongings such as school bag, water bottle, blazer, muffler/scarf etc.
  • Students suffering from infectious diseases such as mumps, measles, chicken pox, conjunctivitis etc should not be sent to school until fully recovered.
  • Parents must ensure that their ward does not carry an electronic article such as mobile phone, camera, walkman etc. to school.
  • PRIVATE TUITION is not encouraged and it is strictly prohibited from the school staff, instead, parents are requested to give personal attention and ask their children to clarify their problems with their teachers in the school itself.
  • RUDE and ARGUMENTATIVE behaviour of students or their parents with school staff will be strictly dealt with.
